A single component solvent free liquid additive to be used with Screedmaster One Coat Membrane when an even faster cure rate is required. Specifically developed for the British contract flooring market the use of the accelerator will not adversely affect the performance of Screedmaster One Coat Membrane. USES The use of accelerator is recommended when there is a need to speed up the cure rate of the Screedmaster One Coat epoxy surface DPM. One unit comprises 250ml of accelerator. The accelerated cure rate is designed to facilitate the application of a full flooring preparation system in a single working day under good ambient conditions. Alternatively it can be used in colder conditions to ensure overnight cure is achieved enabling project work to be continued (see table for cure rates at given temperatures). CONDITIONING Store the Accelerator with the Screedmaster One Coat Epoxy Membrane materials for 24 hours prior to use in temperature conditions between 15ºC and 25ºC. Storage of products under colder temperatures may result in a more viscous consistency that will make application more difficult. Storage under higher temperatures will reduce the working pot life resulting in wastage. MIXING Do not mix the components together until the application is ready to start. Using an electric drill and paddle, first stir the Screedmaster One Coat hardener (Part B) until a homogenous consistency is achieved, then, whilst continually stirring, add the resin (Part A) until a uniform colour is obtained. Gradually pour in the Accelerator (in the quantities listed in the table below) whilst continually stirring to ensure full mixing.As soon as mixing has been completed apply the material. NOTE: As the product relies on a stoichiometric chemical reaction, thorough mixing is essential. POORLY MIXED OR UNMIXED MATERIAL WILL NOT
